- Klonopin Working / Worked
- It has been effective for me but I am careful about not getting dependent on it.
- Reiki Working / Worked
- I do think that alternative treatments can be effective at the right times.
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- It has been helpful to have some guidance in managing my activity level and trying to build my endurance.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- when I get overwhelmed or scared it has helped to have someone to talk to but right now I am looking for a new therapist.
Close Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
unfortunately my abuse has been so severe that a lot of therapists have told me that they don't have the skills or stamina to deal with it, that makes me feel worse! I am absolutely not proud of the fect that I have not met another survivor who has a story that I don't already know about :(

- it was more triggering
- Inderal Working / Worked
- It does reduce my anxiety when my arousal gets too high to manage.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- The right connection with a therapist has been amazing in helping me through my healing process.
- Rape Counseling Working / Worked
- briefly until the person tells me I need to work with a more long-term program
- Reading Working / Worked
- at the beginning, it was especially helpful to have a way to find words for things or feelings that I did not know how to talk about
- Talking Somewhat Helpful
- most people cannot tolerate my story
