      How funny, I just read the post on effexor and before that I was googling info about that. How scary it brought back memories about a yr ago I just went off Lexapro and you mentioned brain shivers, thats it I could never think of a way to describe it other than a brain shock (LOL)How crazy is this? Now Im on zoloft and wellbutrin and very frusrated that I feel it doesnt work for me, still feel like shit with no motivation, would rather lay in bed and sleep,wtf I want to feel good and if these pills arent helping me then why say on them..rite...Its late and now Im going to bed.     • Close Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

      I have suffered from IBS symptoms for about 20 years now. I have never been diagnosed but will be getting health insurance in the next 2 weeks and will be RUNNING to my doctors office! Seems to be getting worse all the time:(

      Treatments

      Imodium Working / Worked
      Seems to help with the D but not the pain and cramps.
      Miralax Somewhat Helpful
      Took a few days to work. Stools too soft. No longer taking.
    • Close Depression
      Type: Clinical (Major) Depression

      Dx with Bipolar II in 2004. No mania, just normal periods between severe depressions.

      Celexa Somewhat Helpful
      Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Somewhat Helpful
      Effexor Working / Worked
      Still taking. Severe side effects after weaning and trying to discontinue:(
      Paxil Working / Worked
      Seroquel Working / Worked
      Wellbutrin Working / Worked
      Zoloft Somewhat Helpful
      Lamictal Working / Worked
      Excellent at stabilizing my mood swings. I am insufferable without it!
    • Open Brain Injury

      Suffered TBI in a head-on collison in 2001.

    • Open Bipolar Disorder

      Diagnosed with Bipolar II in April of 2004

      Treatments

      Celexa Working / Worked
      No longer take
      Lamictal Working / Worked
      Works extremely well at controlling mood swings!
      Seroquel Working / Worked
      No longer take. I could hardly stay awake when on it!
      Wellbutrin Working / Worked
      No longer take.
      Effexor Working / Worked
      Unable to wean off of it even taking the lowest dose for 4 years. Extreme side effects when trying to withdraw.
