Type: Adult AsthmaAtopic asthmatic since childhood -- recovering from a 3 month bout of acute bronchitis and really uncertain about what's going on.

- Advair Working / Worked
- Worked well, but I lost my voice
- Albuterol Working / Worked
- Used almost exclusively for years -- now has little effect
- Asmanex Working / Worked
- Didn't work
- Azmacort Not Working
- Didn't work much
- Breathing Exercises Considering
- Flovent Working / Worked
- Worked before I caught the bronchial infection
- Pulmicort Working / Worked
- Used nebulized while in acute stage, Worked well but caused a lot of coughing.
- Singulair Working / Worked
- I guess -- I've been on it for 6 years
- Symbicort Working / Worked
Close Menopause
I'm perimenopausal and in relatively good health, but I've recently experienced an asthma exacerbation, and have been developing pain and swelling in my right knee for the past year. I need to lose about 50 pounds! I'm interested in maintaining my bone density because I'm taking steroid inhalers for my asthma.
