I'm a SAHM to 3 great kids and am happily married to the one God made for me! Our oldest son was diagnosed with PTC on April 10, 2009. He's only 8. I know God has a plan for us in this and will provide for all our needs. I love my church and my "family" there. Anything you want to know ask me!

Close Pseudotumor Cerebri
My 8 year old son was just diagnosed. He gets horrible headaches and sees double/blurry. Our life has been a whirlwind of doctors in the last few weeks.

We decided to pull our 8 year old out of public school this past December because we wanted our kids to have a Christian education. It has been a blessing in disguise. He was diagnosed with psuedotumor cerebri on April 10, 2009. With him being home am able to monitor his headaches and make sure he gets his meds. Plus we don't have to work around a school schedule for doctors visits. God really blessed us when He laid it on out hearts to home school!
Open Migraine Headaches
I've had migraines for 13+ years but finally got relief when I was paired up with the right neurologist!
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Not Working
- We never found a food trigger or any environmental triggers other than stress.
- Botulin Toxin Working / Worked
- Miracle drug!!!
- Imitrex Not Working
- Imitrex didn't help my migraines at all.
- Magnesium Somewhat Helpful
- Maxalt Not Working
- Didn't help.
- Relpax Working / Worked
- This is the only thing that will get rid of a migraine attack.
- Topamax Working / Worked
- Paired with my Botox this stuff keeps me migraine free 95% of the time!
