Hi, I don't post as much as I used to either, just because I am getting further and further out from my PE and living life is more important that posting about it, you know what I mean? But I do check to see what people are up to and if I can offer some kind of support once in a while. I like hearing when people are doing well. It's important to know how far everyone has come in their recovery. It's even more important to see that people do get better!
I pray things are going better for you and sorry no one responded to your gout post. I read it but I don't have gout so couldn't offer any suggestions for you. Please don't give up on the group. Sometimes they chime in w/wonderful support and sometimes because so many posts, a post may get overlooked. Just try reposting w/maybe a different subject line. Ferr, RetiredNavy Guy, Dero and More2be seem to be the experts on here as they've been dealing w/this so long. I'm like you and was just diagnosed on March 3rd, 2009. It is scary but we have to be thankful that we are SURVIVORS. Happy Mother's Day to your family! Blessings, Tabby
Thanks for the message! I'm back home now and feel rather ok though still confused about the possible new clots. Sorry to hear you're in pain! I hope it'll start letting up soon.
Sending lots cuddly warm hugs your way
I recently had a PE on March9 it was a very close call.I was in the hospital for 6 days.I found out it was caused by a blood disorder called factor 5 leiden.I did not know what to think, other than I was thankfull to be alive.I also was told I was very lucky because I had 6 back sugeries in the past, most recently a a pacemaker removed from my back last year.recovery has been very slow.Pain in my rib cage.My emotions have been up and down and I am very scared about the future of my health.
