Open Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

I was diagnosed a few months back.

Ativan Working / Worked

Worked for a little while then stopped working period. I'm off of it now. No problems at all going cold turkey.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Not Working

Music Working / Worked

It's amazing how much music helps me. My iPod has seriously been a life saver for me at times.

Paxil Not Working

Didn't help at all. Paxil is seriously addictive I had a horrible time going off of it(I was at 40mg when I started to taper). Do NOT take this drug. Some antidepressants can be habit forming esp paxil!

Psychotherapy Working / Worked

It helped me, but I feel at this point that it's done about all the good it's ever going to do. I'm no longer seeing anyone.

Reading Working / Worked

Doesn't work as well as the music, but still helps a great deal.

Supportive Care Working / Worked

My mom has been a huge help to me. Although my symptoms have been hard for her to deal with at times.

Prozac Too Soon to Tell

Way too soon to tell. Ive only been on it since October 9th. My paxil withdrawl symptoms are GONE though. Which is amazing Ive had no more heart fluttering and my fatigue is almost gone.

Open Asperger Syndrome

I strongly suspect I have aspergers.

I have severe panics caused by my phobia and PTSD
