Well my name is Lee; I am a 21yr old single guy from Southampton. I live on my own; I have an 8 month old Beagle puppy called Holly. I love spending time with my friends; I find there is no better feeling than having a good chat and a laugh with true friends. I am on Daily Strength looking to make new friends who I can meet up with for, Coffee, Chats, Bowling, Cinema, Eating out, Shopping and just having a general good time. My friends would describe me as: A kind and caring person, who would do anything to protect the people I care about, A person who they can have a laugh with but also be there as a shoulder to cry on when needed. They would also describe me as a genuine guy who would do anything for them.

hellooooo :) I'm in the teen weight loss support group. I'm 21 also. I'm not in it to lose a ton of weight, just had a daughter a year and a half ago and I have about 25 pounds to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I'd love to chat and stuff if you want :)

Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI have suffered with Depression since i was 12 years old.
Treatments
- Celexa Not Working
- Citalopram did not work for me at all.
- Effexor Working / Worked
- Venlafaxine worked for about 6 months. After this time the drug stopped working effectivly.
- Elavil Not Working
- Amitriptyline did not work for me at all. All the drug did was help me to sleep.
- Lexapro Not Working
- Escitalopram has a similar effect as Citalopram.
- Paxil Not Working
- Seroxat made me more unstable and suicidal.
- Prozac Working / Worked
- Fluxetine worked for a short while before the effects began to wear off.
- Seroquel Working / Worked
- Quetiapine is working really well been on it 9 months now. This is the longest my body has tollerated a drug, So fingers crossed this is the right one after yeard of trying to find one to treat me properly.
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- My friends are great, They allow me to talk when feeling really low and suicidal. They also help me rationalize my feelings, and see the other side of the situation which when i am low i usually cant see without help to point it out.
- Zoloft Working / Worked
- Am on 150mg daily so nearly at the maxium daily doseage. Works well for short periods but tend to get really low and suicidal thoughts late evening.

- Group Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- Been to: Emotional Coping Skills & also a Personal Development Group. Made some great friends and support networks from them but the treatments themselves were not really that helpful.
- Outpatient Treatment Program Not Working
- Psycharist is usless, discriminates against my mental illness and gives the impression i am untreatable.
- Talking Working / Worked
- Talking to friends when feeling low, Helps me to calm down and stop my self harming urges.
- Tattoos Considering
- Had a tattoo done in 2006, Was really painful and hurt like hell. But strangly i want another one.
Open Weight Loss For Teens
I currently weigh 18st and need to lose 5st in weight so that i can once again be healthy.
