Listen, it takes courage to mourn the right way. people will do anything not to feel the painful feelings -- you know? You are experiencing something painful, but it is real. I marvel at how you are doing this. You know what the selfish gene is? it's a gene that won't quit. It survives nomatter what. nothing can kill it. It continues generation after generation. You and I have that selfish gene because we are willing to feel the pain and then keep on going. People don't become great by having an easy life. They become strong and wise every time they go through something difficult --the key word --through. You are in the midst of the going through. You are moving forward -- that's how you know there will be an end to the feeling of suffering. Later on I'll share the story of my dying dog. But not now. I dont' think I want to relive it just now. You sound very intelligent. You are not running to some group, You are not running to get someone to fix you. You are just looking inside of yourself and finding the strength. That's where it is. In your genes. Not your parents -- beyond that. La Mano Poderosa makes me laugh because it reminds me of that Spanish soccer player who would pretend to head a goal but really it was his hand held by his head. You keep it up, ... I can tell you have great things to look forward to. Think about where you want to go. Beyond the family around you. And...I believe...the universe will bring you a hand to helping you get there.
