  kate, did you know that one of the body's natural defence mechanisms is to inflate to avoid further sexual abuse. Don't be surprised to find that this may apply to you, it happens at a subconscious level, hence the reason you may not have been aware of it. I suggest you talk to your pdoc about it, and see if in fact it could be the reason for your extra body weight. You may need to properly assess your ordeal before you can lose the weight, having said this though, that is my opinion only, I may be that far off the mark it isn't funny, but I would urge you to look into it some.   I envy you, two books a week, I am lucky to damn read one per year, lol. I was just wondering though, your avatar name is kate.... does that mean then that you are regularly called on for a date? Feel free to ignore this hug, I will understand that it is in fact none of my business, and that it was rude of me to announce myself in this way, unfortunately though I could not resist the temptation, do you know what I mean, lol? Be HAPPY, make the most of your current situation, it may be the part of your character that needed building upon, see it then as a positive experience, one you will never revisit again having experienced it.   its not easy when we do something that "seemed great" at that time then comes back and hits us hard later! im here for you if you ever need it. I know for me personally that i dont want to bring it out but i may have to soon as some stuff is going on with 2 of my abusers
