  I have used various thyroid medications over the years, but I find them essential to my well being. I was off of my meds due to insurance bullsh*t for a few weeks and was severely weakened--as weak as I had been at my worse CFS. When I'm on my proper meds (thyroid & dexadrine) I can actually function and live a semi-normal life. Good luck!

  Thanks for the friend request! I haven't been on DS too much lately, but welcome and best of luck with your health. After two years of CFS I'm getting back into a little bit of physical exercise--even shooting some hoops. There's hope. Stay strong.

Basketball was my life in high school and I've stayed athletic as an older adult. Losing this is HUGE and I"m sorry you have to go through it at your age. Remember, faith moves mountains and you can get through anything and be healed in the name of Jesus.
