Have You been referred to a GBS dr yet? I was referred to Dr. Pender..I meet him in August, after my 4th month visit with my dietician. I have to do a 6 month weight/diet program, as a requirement for my insurance to cover.

I'm 28yo and I'm thinking about having gastric bypass surgery. Some of my closest friends have had it done and they are fine and I also know some that have had it done and it went bad. I hear stories that you start off fine but, later you start to do bad. I;m in the GOP program so, i'll sone have my decision appointment with my Dr. to tell him what I decide. Some people like my friends tell me it's the easy way out and some tell me they are scared for me. I have no health problems except weight.
