I am an avid equestrian, with several years' riding experience. I enjoy everything about horses, as they are beautiful and wonderful creatures. I also love writing. I have always wanted to be an author, and I really hope for that dream to come true. I have some wonderful friends that I love dearly.

Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionMy fellow classmates, more like a pack of jackals, would constantly pester and pick on me and I honestly had no idea how to deal with it. It got worse and worse and continued straight through high school until finally I sought help and was diagnosed with Major Depression.
Treatments
- Meditation Too Soon to Tell
- The meditation, like positive thinking, has helped my friends, so I am trying it. It's a recent addition to my self healing, but I am hoping it will help a lot.
- Positive Thinking Too Soon to Tell
- One of my other friends with depression has constantly been raving about how much positive thinking has helped him. So I'm giving it a try, though it is a rather recent change.
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- I have a therapist, and she is helping, but not very much. I wish I could be more open with her, but it will take some time.
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- My best friends are really the only people besides my parents that know about my depression and they have always been supportive, helping me through bad days and almost always knowing when I need a hug.
- Writing Working / Worked
- I really want to be an author, so I am constantly writing. I've gotten to be really good at it and it has really helped me to escape my troubles for a while.
- Music Working / Worked
- I play the piano, sing, and I am learning how to play guitar. It's so freeing to just lose myself in the music.
Close Depression - Teen
It's hard enough being a teenager, but on top of that I was diagnosed with Clinical Depression when I was thirteen. I want to get better, and I have tried most everything healthy and even some unhealthy habits to get better.
