Close Myasthenia Gravis
iagnosed with Myasthenia gravis in Jan 2006. Had gone to eye doctor for removal of cinder behind right eyelid. Questioned about drooping eyelid. Sent to a neurologist. Questioned about afternoon fatique, leg cramps, etc. Antibody count was 18. Perscribed mestinon, 60 mg, 3 times a day. System could not tolerate full dose - diarhea. Started on 15 mg and now up to 45mg. Good response to mestinon. Sagging face muscles improved, no leg cramps and afternoon fatique gone. Symptoms stablized.
Treatments
- Mestinon Working / Worked
- Experienced diarheas on 60mg dosage. Reduced to 15 mg to start so my system would gradually adjust. Now taking 45 mg 3x daily. MG symptoms in check.
