Close Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Hi, I'm Dom. I'm a strong, vibrant 39 year old mother of two beautiful young boys and wife to a terrific husband. I was diagnosed with stage 3A Hodgkins a year ago (March 08). I went through 6 cycles of ABVD without too much trouble other than losing my hair. After my treatment, I still had several enlarged nodes (chest and spleen) which persisted for the next six months but did not change on subsequent CT scans until recently. Now I've been told I need ASCT.
Treatments
- ABVD Working / Worked
- ABVD did not get rid of all of my cancerous nodes. I lost my hair after 1 cycle. I was tired the first week following chemo but overall had decent energy and appetite. I ate a fairly strict diet and took supplements which I'm sure helped me weather the chemo.
