Close Infertility

Hi- New to this joined this morn as I'm confused on what to do next. Did initial IVF in March with Follistim - started at 300 cc/day and there was not real response and went up to 450 for 5 days and then menopur for 2 days and upon retrieval found out my eggs were not "mature" enough to proceed with fertilization. Had 4 follicles, but only had 2 eggs removed and were unusable. Trying 2nd round of IVF with stronger dosage Follistim - have 1 ovary only. Wondering has anyone had this happen to?

Treatments

Artificial Insemination Not Working

Tried 6 cycles with no success.

Clomid Not Working

Took it for 5 rounds of IUI and didn't work - no side effects.

Follistim Working / Worked

Took 300 cc for 1st IVF cycle for 5 days, jumped up to 450 for balance days 6 -10 and didn't produce eggs that are "mature" enough for fertilization.

hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked

Don't know - took 1 shot 2 days prior to egg retrieval and eggs were not "mature" enough for fertilization.

HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked

Found my tube is slightly twisted? Worked well, no side effects, painless process.

Hysteroscopy Working / Worked

Again - found tube is slightly twisted - no side effects, painless process.

In Vitro Fertilization Not Working

Did 1st cycle in Mar 09 - trying 2nd cycle as my eggs retrieved are not "mature" for fertilization, will try with higher Follistim in April 09

Repronex Working / Worked

Don't know - took it for 2 days and my eggs retrieved were not mature enough for fertilization?
