Hi everyone my name is Jacob (I'm really only 11) I just joined this it's my first time on a crohn's support site.I need help But my doctor (Dr.Christopher Justinich) wants me to take immuran I've heard that it can you give you lymphoma. There are also other meds he suggested like remicade, methotrexate, and the elemental diet. I also have a G-tube.The three months before I was diagnosed with crohn's I was very severely sick & did not eat ANYTHING for the whole entire 3 months.

Well Hello Jacobshort......sorry to hear you have crohns at such a young age....My daughter has it also.......How did you happen to come across me?? lol....
You are on a good site to hopefully find some help & answers to questions you may have....
My daughter is going thru a major Flare up right now....Hope you feel better & things work out good for ya.....I'm here & will try to help you as much as I can...:):)

Thanks! That's what I've been thinking...it seemed like the more I've been "weening" off the steroids, the pain actually lessens each night... But my doctor, because of the pain, just had me taking steroids longer. I told my mother today that I think it's better the faster I get off them, I had a feeling it was the steroids fault. It just didn't happen the last time I was on them. So good to know someone else thought the same!
I have severe crohn's disease I have been on plenty of meds so you can ask me some stuff.
