Still recovering from the conference so I will be writting more about it soon. I also picked up all the back issues of the Narcolepsy Network Newsletter and I am learning cool stuff there too. For example I have been learning this year that a lot of what I thought were my idosyncracies were really coping habits. Like that the constent cup of tea wasn't just a habit it was survival. But I now read about PWN having a lower "core temperature" and that our alertness can be improved by raising our core temperature. Well I always drank hot tea, all year long, even when the temporature was in the 90's...now I think I know why...like so many things I thought were just preferences...it made me feel better. Drinking hot beverages raises one's core temperature. I will get out the article and add a bit more meat to this soon. Maybe I should do a post about it after a nap.

i would love to read more about it!
