Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
I have been recently diagnosed with RA after many months of tests and suffering. Have DDD and a lumbar cage was done in 1998. The second knuckle in my thumbs are frozen. I get severe cervical spasms from the RA in my neck and shoulders.
Treatments
- Folic Acid Too Soon to Tell
- No hair loss
- Hydroxychloroquine Working / Worked
- family md put me on about a year ago when I had severe swelling in ankles. He took me off when swelling subsided.
- Methotrexate Too Soon to Tell
- Plaquenil Not Working
- Allergic reaction; severe rash
- Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
- Started with the med pak and now on 5mg daily
- Tylenol Somewhat Helpful
- Does not work well with big flare up
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- Helps take the edge off sometimes
