It's all over now. Mood
Friday, September 25, 2009

I went to see my GI today.

He remarked on my weight - back to normal now at 155 pounds.

We discussed my latest blood work - completely normal again.

We discussed my next visit. Six months out (if necessary).

We discussed getting a CAT scan done once per year going forward.

I told him I was going to write a book. He said I should.

We shook hands.

We said cheerio.

Looks like I've gotten this mudda f*kker beat!!!!! :-) :-)

Good question! I don't know the answer.
Relieved I suppose, but as always I have more questions than answers.
    Am I cured? I don't know.
    Am I in remission? I don't know
    Am I still decompensated? I don't know
    Am I compensated? I don't know
How much liver function do I have? I don't know
Will I continue to get better and better? I don't know
    Will I relapse? I don't know
I felt as if my GI was pissed at me. Was he? I don't know

Am I going to continue to try to help others fight this disease - yes absolutely!

I do know I am one lucky SOB and will always be eternally grateful for whatever it was that turned things around for me. :-)

    How do you feel??

This is great news Craig. You have done well in looking after yourself and never let that fighting spirit leave you. Write your book, I am sure it will help others. You give people hope and a source of inspiration. I am happy for you.

Was your GI pissed at you? Of course he was -- he now has to tell his wife they can't take that 6 month tour he was going to take on the money he was making off of you!
