Close Raynaud's Disease
In December of '07, I began experiencing painful nodules all over my fingers, which, to this day, my doctor cannot diagnose. I was rushed to the doctor, and then to a rheumatologist, who then sent me to a pediatric rheumatologist in NYC. She has helped me a lot, and has diagnosed me with Raynaud's, Livedo reticularis, GERD, asthma and chronic headaches. In addition, I am also being regularly treated for ADD. I attend six doctors regularly and take 12 pills per day to keep myself on track.
Treatments
- Trental Somewhat Helpful
- Trental sure tastes funny, but it does good things for my veins. it
- Procardia XL Working / Worked
- Is VERY VERY helpful but gives me headaches when i forget to take it.
- Prevacid Working / Worked
- Works well to quell the GERD that comes along with a large amount of medications.
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- Although a malaria treatment it works very well to open the veins.
Open Acne
I hate acne.
Treatments
- Benzoyl Peroxide Somewhat Helpful
- Have ADD, so daily regimens aren't my thing.
- Retin-A Working / Worked
- Eh.
- Doxycycline Working / Worked
- Cleared up my cystic acne quite well but upset my stomach a lot.
