"Ring the bells that still can ring. Forget your perfect offering. There is a crack, a crack in everything. Thats how the light gets in..."

Yesterday, May 28th, I went to the Lahey Clinic for my first checkup in 2 months. Besides the on-going pain in my joints that still hasn't been figured out, things are looking good.  My blood tests are great and my doctors said I can start going for bloodwork once a month now instead of once every two weeks.  One of the surgeons on the transplant team is going to get me a referral to see one of the rhuemetologists at Lahey because so far, my local rhuemetologist just hasn't been able to really do much for me.  I know that he does not have much experience dealing with liver recipients and therefore he's not able to try a lot of medicinal therapies for my condition.  Hopefully, whoever I see at Lahey will be able to be a little more aggressive with the aid of my transplant team to get to the bottom of this.
