White, black, crimson, or blue;
What color heart is the one for you?
Do you want a heart that will last through any storm,
Or do you just want a heart that will keep you safe and warm?
Maybe you want a heart that will never leave you behind,
Or do you want a heart that will go slow and take its time?
Do you want a heart that will shatter your sweet dreams?
This heart will slowly drown you in life’s rapid streams.
A blue heart brings tears to your eyes.
Maybe it fills you with suspicion, maybe it tells you lies.
It makes you unhappy. It makes you so blue.
I don’t think the blue heart is the one designed for you.
A white heart is pure. It will give to you all it can.
It will guide you through the trials of life. Together you will walk hand in hand.
Never will it make you cry; never will it part.
Together you will learn as one, you and your white heart.
A black heart is a dreadful thing indeed.
It takes away your love. In you, it plants a dark seed.
Once the black heart has taken you captive, your life is nearing an end.
The damage will be done, and the blackness will rapidly descend.
The crimson heart is by far the very best.
It is a heart of love and honesty that far exceeds the rest.
A crimson heart has patience and faith, tucked deep inside.
