Dear Mocha, A aneurysm is like a bubble on a radiator hose. You can drive as long as usual with it but it can also burst. The trick it to avoid putting pressure on the system, stress, etc... Worrying about an aneurysm can ultimately lead to it rupturing! Lots of people are born with aneurysms but because they do not burst they never know they have had one. Aneurysm's are genetically transferred so if a blood relative of your has one it would be wise to have a yearly MRI. I survived a ruptured brain aneurysm and then went back to college and earned a degree. Do not let an aneurysm run your life!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yours, Eric

I went through this with my first daughter, and it hurt. Now I am doing it again. I just wondered if any other moms or dads experienced a "loss" of your daughter, when they find a significant other? My daughter is ALWAYS at her boyfriend's house. And she always comes home talking about how fun and wonderful his mom is, and his dad is, and his family. We are a close family, here in our home, but with my girls grown up, and leaving "me", I feel alone, even though I have sons still home?

      Treatments

      Patience Somewhat Helpful
Trying to pray and wait. Hard to do sometimes.
Physical Exercise Too Soon to Tell
I'm trying to walk weekly. So far, not so good, but I need to continue to try. They say it helps the mood.
    • Close Homeschooling

Lost motivation to 'school' kids after my youngest brother died. They are behind, and I'm wondering, can they catch up? I feel like a loser.

    • Open Aneurysms

Hi, My mom was diagnosed with having an aneurysm. The doctor told her, there is nothing they could do, just hope it doesn't burst. I cried. My mom cried, and as I've looked up things on the internet, it seems there are things that "can" be done, or are those surgeries not for everyone? Thanks for any information you share. I will continue to read posts on here too.
