I spent 5 days in the hospital right before christmas because I had went to many doctors, emergency rooms and noone knew what was wrong with me. I was finally sent to see an opthamologist for vision loss and sever pains. When I arrived there I had severe hemmorrhaging, a swollen optic nerve, and rupture retina, I also received 3 lumbar punctures within 24 hours to relieve the pressure. I am now on 2000 mg of Diamox a day and I still suffer from headaches and swelling of arms and legs.

Treatments

Acetazolamide Somewhat Helpful

I still have headaches. Did make swelling of optic nerve go down and hemmorraging ended.
