About Me
I am a recently divorced (after 17 years together 13 years married) Mom to three wonderful children (one on the Autism Spectrum). I have found that since my ex and I split I have been given a gift to discern what I truly like as opposed to what I thought I liked as an other half. What I can say for certain is that I love to see the humor in things. When I'm having a tough moment music and my family get me through.

That is really hard. I have two girls other than Stephen. My girls are 13 and 8 they are both "normal". It is so difficult trying to divide the time. My girls are resentful at Stephen for taking so much time and $$. I guess it's normal. His behavior is ALWAYS a challenge. He's at times all over the place and others quiet. You never now what will happen when you wake up in the morning. I go to a West Haven group that for all types of Special Ed. kids. It's great!! Please do keep in touch I also need someone to chat with.

Close Autism / Autism Spectrum
My daughter, Riley, was diagnosed ASD when she was 28 months. She is now 6 and working so hard to live in our world. Riley has taught me so much. I am hoping to find other parents who can share.
Treatments
- ABA Working / Worked
- Riley has 1 hour 5 days per week. It is working well for her.
- Behavior Management Working / Worked
- In addition to ABA protocol
- Brushing Therapy Working / Worked
- This helps when Riley has a hard time recovering from an episode.
- Early Intervention Working / Worked
- Patience Working / Worked
- Don't we all need this???
- Pets Working / Worked
- Riley loves any animal.. specifically Fergus the yorkie.

- This was very effective before Riley was verbal.
