On Monday we called 911 because ME was very weak and disoriented. She has been in the hospital ever since. Her platelets were very, very low, she was dehydrated, despite drinking Gatorade, and they discovered a small bowel obstruction. Fast forward to Wednesday and she is still in the hospital. She is much more alert (finally) but she is having some pretty severe abdominal cramping. I wonder how long she will be in there...
