My labs were "either normal or of no significance" according to the recorded message left by my doctor's office, but I am still going to request a copy. I saw the eye doctor on Friday; he gave me a prescription for night driving glasses and I am having a visual field test this week to make sure the floater is no biggie.
To my surprise, my pulse-ox test came back abnormal. I don't know the details, but my doc referred me to a sleep specialist (Dr. Hasan, Tallahassee Pulmonary Clinic), so I will find out more when I go see him May 19th. I'm almost relieved; this could be why I am so tired all the time!
As for the numbness and tingling, my mom asked me if it could be TMJD, and when I researched the symptoms, it was like, "jackpot!"; TMJ Disorder could be causing many of my problems: headaches, neck pain, and the numbness, also sinus problems; maybe even not sleeping well at night. So I requested a referral to go see Dr. Woodruff for that, and I will see him June 4th unless someone cancels.
My appointment with the allergist is May 19th as well, I also have an appt. scheduled with the neurologist, i think not this week but the next. I think that's everything. I will post updates after my appointments.
So, since my arms/hands/fingers have ben numb since Saturday (5 days) I decided to call my doctor. I was able to get an appt. today. He of course does not know whats wrong. I will see three other doctors: a neurologist, an eye doctor, and an allergist. I am also having labs done, and having an overnight pulse-ox. Here is my list of symptoms:
fatigue
floater in my right eye
sensitivity to light
poor night vision
bumping into things
memory loss
occasional heart flutters
snoring
rashes/hives that come and go in different places
I mentioned all of the above to my doctor today except for the heart flutters, sensitivity to light, bumping into things, and the memory loss because - I forgot. Even though I had them written down. I felt a little rushed and it was an awful long list, a lot to cover in one visit. I will see how the results of all these tests come out and then mention them on my next visit. I will be sure to tell the specialists when I see them also.
Please comment if you can relate and/or help me. Thanks!
