Journal

Hello; most of the important stuff is on the page before this one. I generally don't keep journals, because there are many powers in my life which, like it or not, have more control over it than I do, mostly having to do with my health. I don't want to come down on anyone who is convincing themselves that they have (whatever), it doesn't have them, but the facts in my case are that my illness has me. Everything--and I mean everything--in my life has been destroyed by these things (I am ill with more than one thing). All of my artistic talent has been ruined for professional (or even private) use by one or more of the things I suffer from. Getting my degree in psychology is my absolute last hope, since I've been beating my head against the givernment at all levels--city, state, federal--in two of the most liberal states in the union, and achieved nothing.

I am bisexual, and I have *no* preference genderwise in what I can be interested in or attracted to; but I can't have sex, of ANY kind, because its too painful. I haven't always been this way; unfortunately, though they say what I'm ill with doesn't progress, it does. Besides, the muscular disease, one of the worst sources of pain, *does* progress without treatment, which I cannot get.

I am here because I would like to read about the experiences of people who deal with the experience of bisexuality in daily life. Obnoxious as it sounds, I can also provide the opinion of someon who has been there and done that, but can no longer, which gives one a certain detachment. I understand about chronic illness as well, though I don't pretend to be able to counsel over this medium. I can, however, provide an understanding ear, and maybe some advice. Following the advice isn't importent; the thing about advice is that it makes you think. Hardly anybody ever follows it to the letter, which is as it should be.  :)
