Sorry, you are feeling so bad. Doctor due start with the bromo to see if it will work for you first. It did nothing to lower my levels. Then they will put you on the dostinex (cabergoline) which worked really fast for me. Dostinex does have it own side effects but they do go away after about six months. I know it does not seem very promising but if you can get to other end you will feel so much better. Some of the feeling I felted I did not even notice where missing. Let me know if there is anything else i can do to help you. Rae
Dear Bahareh, Sorry to hear you're having a tough time. If it's any consolation, I have a good friend and two cousins with hyperthyroidism (the opposite to your condition I know) but they are doing well with treatment. Is the prolactinoma causing the hypothyroidism? Just wondering.. I have to have some more tests done myself, and they're looking at other problems my tumour could be causing.. Hope you feel heaps better tomorrow! Paula
I hope you feel better.
At the age of 18 I had a emergency Overian Cyst surgery and a few years after that I was diagnosed with PCOS. It's been a difficult challenge and would love to hear your stories of how you manage since there is no cure.
I have Hypothyriodism and I am currently taking Synthriod for the treatment. It's a battle since the medication dosage constantly needs to change but it's something I need to leave with for the rest of my life. I would love to hear your stories.
I have been having some hormonal issues and high insulin levels as well as wieght gain. I had an MRI this week and just today the Dr called and told me I have a benign growth on my pituitary gland called Prolactinomia. I have no idea what to do and wondering if I can get some advice here through your stories.
