So today was my 1st ultrasound. I am 6 weeks and 2 days :) I was sooo nervous this morning that I wanted to puke! Not because of morning sickness but because I was sooo nervous as to what I was going to see! All I wanted to hear was...there is a baby there!
Jake was cracking up and telling me to calm down...then like 15 mins later he said..."Now you are making me nervous!" lol
I was shaking so bad when my RE came in. Then right when he put the probe in he said...my 10 sec look I am pretty sure there are twins! I could not see the screen at the point but Jake was standing beside of me and holding my hand and had a huge grin on his face! Then he said...yep def twins!!!!! I started crying right then and there and said OMG....Thank you sooo much!!! Then I said..."I am sooo glad there is 2 because I was starting to feel like a wimp because I have been soooo tired!" They started laughing!
Then he turned the screen around to me and said..." Here are your babies"! And this is your hearbeats!!!! I instantly looked at Jake through my sea of tears and he had the biggest grin on his face and tears in his eyes!!!
I could not believe what I was seeing! Two perfect little sacs!
I have been on cloud 9 all day...did not want to work or anything! I cannot believe this is finally happening to me!!!
Thank you all soooo much for all the prayers and support!

Now.... take it easy and rest as much as you can. Don't feel guilty about that. I spent the first 4 months working and sleeping. DH did- literally- everything else. We wouldn't have had any clean clothes, food, or bills paid if it had not been for him. I wanted to feel guilty about it, but everyone kept telling me, "You are growing a baby! It's all a natural part of the process. Just rest." So now it's my turn to say that to someone else.
You will be in my prayers every single day, all day! xoxo

Congratulations on the twins!! My husband and I just found out that we're pregnant as well (going on 5 weeks). We did injections with IUI too and I had 4 eggs...my BETA the day we found out was 1100 and then 2 days later it was 2300. I read that a high BETA could mean multiples. I was wondering what your BETA numbers were when you first found out since you're expecting multiples. We have our first US Nov. 23rd so we'll find out then for sure!! Thanks and congrats again!!
