Girl, I feel your pain. The truth is - you need to let this guy go. I know it's the hardest thing to do, but you have to keep looking forward. My ex (you can read my story on my profile) is also the only one I've ever been in a relationship with. It's been a little over a year since the break-up and though it's still hard, I realize more and more every day that I'm better off. My ex was toxic and just kept holding me back from so many things. Don't let him do that. Be strong, and stand your ground. Just let go.

Close Breakups & Divorce
I recently broke up with the only guy I have ever had a relationship with. We had been together for about 4 years and lived together with a short breakup at one point when he found another girl. We reconciled and things were going fine and all of the sudden he decides he needs to just figure out his life. I'm left devastated because I planned my life with him. We still talk and I should probably break all ties but his family really hopes that we will end up together. I'm just very sad.
