  I just received the final MS diagnosis June 19th. It was 2 weeks prior when the MRI showed signs that MS might be my issue so I started to research and then bought the book. I still have not read the entire book because I keep getting side tracked with other things that might be harmful to me. I also get overwhelmed at times and have days of "why me" and "I give up". I think I will have one more day of being bad and jump in 100% tomorrow. I already had coffee today and a juicy steak and some cheese sounds like it will be good for dinner! I was really bad yesterday and had a cheeseburger and some key lime pie. I don't have to work tomorrow so I can sit on the couch start a diary and create some recipes within the diet guidelines. Wish me luck! How long have you had MS? What is it like for you? Are you on a treatment and if so which one?

  I'm happy to hear you had read my post and bought the book The MS Recovery Diet. I hope it really helps with your symptoms. I would love to share how things are going. Kuddos for being a home school Mom. I'm considering the same for my children. I'm 43, original NYorker and have two children ages 3 & 5.

  Thanks so much! Yes, i've done everything they wanted of me and still haven't convinced them. I hired a lawyer and am now waiting for a hearing. Let's hope they don't deny me again. it's already been 8 months...my husband and I just can't afford to live without me contributing something...

  Hi I just read your post and wanted to let you know that I have not been dx and have many of the same symptoms off and on for 15yrs+.The drs. finally sent me to a nuero. where I finally feel I belong. But I have to admit that I am not big in drs. and tend to avoid them. I have been dx with CFS, IBS, Fibro., I do think these were given to me out of the fact that they didn't have a true dx. I do need to go back and be more persistent.Well, just keep going and hopefully they'll figure this out and your not alone. It is VERY frustrating not knowing.Beth
