I am a stay at home mom to Olivia who just turned 1 and a 17 year old son who is off to college this fall! My husband and I Love to travel, watch good movies and boating. We sold our boat so we are looking for a new one :) I am currently going through a rough time with getting a diagnosis. I have all the symptoms of MS but no diagnosis yet. This has been going on since about 2004. I am also concerned about Marfan syndrome for which me and my son fit the profile for. I am going at the end of April to find out if I have it or not or at least start the process. I am scared. I have been sick so long and I hopeI get some answers.

Good to hear from you. I TOTALLY understand about the sitting, I really can only do 15 min at a time, other days no mins. I first round of injections seem to be making a difference, I have two more rounds to go though...but better then surgery.

I got the first round of injections done yesterday and I already feel an improvement...but it could also be that I actually let myself rest all day yesterday!

Close Marfan Syndrome
I am waiting to see if my son and I have Marfan syndrome or some related disorder. We both fit the profile so well, but only a qualified Dr. can tell us if we have it or not. I have been sick for quite sometime now and it was not until I had an echo done recently did the tech bring up the term Marfan syndrome. I did not say anything at the time. I went home and researched it and I was shocked! I began researching some more and I do think my son and I might have it. I'm scared.
Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Hi All, I am joining this group in hopes of support, advice and friendship. I fit the profile for so many connective tissue disorders but I also have had lots of MS symptoms. I go to the rhuemetologist on the 27th of this month. My ANA, my rhuemotoid factor all negative 2 times..I am confused and worried about my future. The only thing that I really feel leads me to think it is MS is I had remission of my symptoms during pregnancy.
Open Degenerative Disc Disease
I have DDD-in neck and lower back. Basically, my back is a mess. Bone spurs, arthritis. I am in Phase 2 of the degnerative process. I was a HUGE sports person-volleyball. No more. My knees are degenerating, so that is a no no. I feel so young on th ouside but on the inside I feel 90. I am currently seeking disability because of this awful thing and I have suspicion of MS and Marfan syndrome. We'll see. I see a genetic doctor in July. My son fits a lot of the Marfan traits as well. Confusing!!!!
Open Breast Cancer
Stage: 0 (Tis)I have had many symptoms, but these by far are the scariest. My left breast turned red the other day, overnight-not bright red, but a dull blue like bruised red and blue. It has swollen as well. I went my OBGYN who does not think it is IBC-I am scared-I have not been feeling well at all and we might do a skin biopsy next week.
