Well Aubrey is to go for her Well Baby check up and also is to get her shots today, but she has a cold so I will not be letting them give her the shots, I have got some family members upset over me not giving Aubrey milk yet because I want to wait until I see the Dr to talk with him. I was explaining to them that I have many Questions about how much to give her and also if I cold still give her the Good start formual 9-24 to. They are saying that I am depriving her and as soon as she turns 1 she should be on milk. She just turned 1 3 weeks ago and I am still giving her the formual. They are in a hurry to see how she likes it. Also I have told them that I do not want her to have Choc milk and that was like WWIII all I heard was a little will not hurt. I can not believe what I am hearing. I want to get her used to regular milk first and I am getting hit with You need to let her try new things. I just want her to wait on it for the time being and get the good stuff first. Also no pop which she has been getting sips of and I asked for this to stop. I feel like I am the bad guy always saying NO. I just want her to have the healty stuff first and then interduce some snacks later when she is a little older to no that they are treats and not food she gets all the time.
Aubrey has also caught a bad cold and I had to stay home with her for 2 days. We will see the Dr and hope he will be able to clear her nose out. She will not let me even try and she is Stronge. I hope everyone is dong better

You are the parent, and in the end, you get to make the decisions about what is best for your baby. I can't believe they are giving you so much crap! I don't see any reason why you need to switch to milk EXACTLY when she turns one. Many people breastfeed their children well past age one, and I'm sure formula is fine still, too. I think you're doing the right thing by holding off on sweets. She doesn't NEED them. You are a great mom to make sure she's getting the best!
