  I am so sorry for your pain. I have not really slept since 7/25 when my husband died. Probably not much either for the 7 weeks he was in the hospital before he passed. I also am having a rough time. I forget things, too and cannot concentrate. I am blaming it on lack of sleep. I yhink it is the total sadness that is the cause. I also am dreading the holidays. His birthday was 12/19 and of course we always did something festive becasue it was just before Christmas. You are so fortunate to have a darling daughter to carry on your husband's memory. WE can only hope thinhs will get brighter. May days I doubt it. Take care.

  Hi Michelle- I know exactly how you feel- i lost my husband 6 weeks ago and I can not believe the way I am being treated- the funeral was full of well wishers and "promise" of support but most people just avoid me-it is so painful- I am so sorry for your loss.

  Hi Michelle, I think some people avoid us because they don't know what to say. Others may want to give you space. If in time, things don't improve, it may be time to form new relationships. What else can we do? Anyway, I am sending you this hug to let you know I do understand.
