40 yr old female who loves to live life to its fullest... Enjoy being around family and friends and love a good party!!!! I enjoy helping other people... I love animals ..... sometimes more than humans....lol.... Suffered for 8 1/2 yrs with UC and had to go on SSDI...Just recently had colon and rectum removed...I was working while disabled which gives me some sanity....plan to go back as soon as I recover.... I look at everything as .... There are people out there with worse things.... and it gets me through what ever i have... I also have other auto immune diseases which usually go hand and hand with UC.... but it is ok...Live each day to its fullest.... one day at a time....

Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
had uc for 8 1/2 yrs.... on drugs for most of them and suffered major side effects from all of them... Just recently had my colon removed and I am recovering right now... set backs from surgery but am possitive this is the best thing I have done....

- worked but lowered my immune system and gave my pnemonia and and abscess in my lungs
- Remicade Working / Worked
- didnt work
- Surgery Working / Worked
- recovering from surgery and so far so good... a few set backs but like i said , i am still reovering
