  I'm very sorry that this has happened to you. One would like to believe that after surgery this wouldn't continue to happen. I myself have not had the surgery yet but I have been told by my endo doc and my surgeon that I will eventually. I have had four attacks and I just turned thirty. I hope that things improve for you and that this doesn't happen again! :)

  I have not had surgery but I have been able to cope with my Diverticulitis by being careful not to eat anything with nuts or seeds. Also, popcorn, can cause real problems. Hope this helps,FranD
