About Me
I am 40 years old, and have various health issues-insulin dependent type 2 diabetic, micro-vascular cardiac disease, high blood pressure and heart palpitations, fibromyalgia, neck and spine issues, chronic pain, diabetic neuropathy, anxiety, mild ocd, and I had endometriosis for about 14 years until they had to do a complete hysterectomy to get rid of it when I was 34.

Interests
I love music, books, movies (especially Bette Davis movies), I don't feel well enough to leave the house very often, but I used to love the outdoors, walking, etc..

Close Diabetes Type 2
I am type 2 insulin-dependent diabetic.

Close Chronic Pain
I have had a number of issues over the years that cause chronic pain. I had endometriosis for many years, until I had a complete hysterectomy, I developed fibromyalgia while being treated for endometriosis, and I had neck surgery years ago, and have had constant chronic pain in my neck and spine for many years. I also have chronic pain issues from diabetic neuropathy.

Open Menopause
I am in "surgical menopause" Had to have a complete hysterectomy when I was 34 due to endometriosis that would not resond to treatments.

- tried for a short period of time-it made me really sick to my stomach, so I quit taking it-I don't think I was on it long enough to know if it would be helpful for menopause symptoms.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 7 years ago.

- I was initially prescribed this for rapid heartrate but they have me at a dosage amount that is supposed to help my blood pressure also.
Open Financial Challenges
I have had numerous health issues that have caused severe, chronic pain since I was 15 years old (40 now). These issues have caused financial hardship my entire life, and at this point-it's the worst it has ever been-I lost my health insurance and long term disability benefits in January of 2008, I am unable to work, and my boyfriend only has part-time work right now-and for how long, I don't know, because he has health issues that will soon make it impossible for him to work either.

I am a "stress-monster". I have had trouble with anxiety since I was a child.

Open Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
I have mild ocd-I am not currently taking any medication for it, and not receiving any treatment for it. I have been under a lot of stress lately, and am finding that my ocd symptoms are increasing with the stress.
