Close Hemochromatosis
I found out I had HH one year ago. I am tired all the time and could never find any energy. My doctor took a full panel of blood test and my ferritin levels were at 1210. Transferrin saturation was at 98 percent. He recommended me to a gastrologist and I gave blood for 1 year every two weeks (a pint). My MD checked me again because always tired for diabetic and took tons of tests to find out that my ferritin levels are now at 7! He stated my folic acids were way to low also.
Treatments
- Phlebotomy Working / Worked
- But they took to much and didnt test me in the yr. Now I am anemic and have low folic acids.
Close Breast Cancer
I have had mamagrams in the past but because I have no tolerance to pain skipped the last 5 yrs. I received a call that I had califications and need to come back in for another mamagram and ultrasound. When I got back in the did all the test and told me that I need to go in for 4 biopsys. Three on one Breast and 1 on the other. I am scared to death.
