      I just found out last year that I was a premutated fragile X carrier. I have two teenage children who haven't been tested yet, however they show no symtoms yet of fragile X.

      I just found out about a year ago that I am a premutated fragile x carrier. When I 27 yeats old, I was told after multiple tests that I was already going through menopause with no explanation as to why it was happening so early. When I recently found out I was a premutated fragile x carrier, it was devastating news, however it all made sense as to why I had POF and why I was having all the physical and emotional symptoms of menopause at such an early age.
