Close Esophageal Cancer

My 56 year old father was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer and passed away 6 short months later. Chemo failed him twice. Its only been 4 months and I still cannot come to terms with what happened.

I have a 7year old son diagnosed with ADHD 2 years now. He also has a working diagnosis of mood disorder. He has been suspended from school, expelled all for being misunderstood and no services available to him. He has been medicated for the condition since the diagnosis and the meds change almost bimonthly.

Adderall Working / Worked

My son took it for about a year and a half. He had lost weight due to the fact it severly suppresses the appetite and also had to take sleeping pills for the insomnia it caused. My son hit a dose that he could no longer tolerate so we switched meds.

Clonidine Working / Worked

Hated this!! made my son basically a zombie..he was very emotionless and frequently would fall asleep unexpectedly. Stopped using in less than a week.

Focalin Working / Worked

Now taking Focalin and like it! His appetite is better and the tics he had developed are gone!
