so last monday my daughter got accepted to my college's daycare!! not only do they watch her while im in school, but if i start working they will watch her as long as it's within their working hours. On tuesday i met with the supervisor of the daycare system. what a great lady!! she want's to set up a confrence with my daughter's pt, st, teacher, etc. to further help her with pt! the supervisor believes that my daughter needs more than 1 hour a week of pt. she want's her teachers to learn how to help my daughter so that she reaches her full potential!!! the supervisor also said that "this is not a daycare system, it's a learning center and we want the best for your daughter." How great is that????

Im not sure what to think right now. My daughter seemed to be improving little by little, but now when I try to do PT with her she hates it, she'll scream and cry. Also her appitite has gone way down. Which sucks because we've been going to the GI doctor to try to improve her weight. UGH!!! I don't know if this is bad but even though she screams I still make her do her PT because I know if she doesn't do it, it will push things backwards. at the same time it makes me feel like a bad mommy. I hope this is just a phase and that she will get out of it soon.

no not bad try to make it fun some how it isn't always comfortable ever over done it and woke up feeling crickety and old well that's what a person with spastic cp feels tight ,achy like they need to be oiled now add in you doing range of motion excersizes and other ones in wouldn't you be grumpy don't stop doing them just helping you understand where she might be coming from

in that case try a one on one aid with her
