it is a bright and sunny day here in the valley..for some reason it is very peaceful here despite tha fact that it is a weekend here in my community and every one is here.there is an occasional bark of a dog..but that is mine..i tell them to shut up and like nay other child they don't hear me.
not sure there will be a big turnout tonight and it seems to get smal;ler every year of caarse since it is a private community here no one allowed off the streets..there will be policemen here this evenin g and all entering must have clearence from a owner in this park and it will be check out before entrance is allowed....
hopewfully all of the remaining garden lights will be remaining when the night is done...only time will tell.last year the age of some of the trick or treaters was quite questionable so after nine my door will be closed..gate locked and lights out!
i did oput up some halloween deco but not as much as before.i find it not as much fun now as i did when my child/ren were young.....next year it will be almost my daughters 21 b/day as her b/day is in nov.so i am thinking a halloween party for her and friends at the club..we will see.
after tomorrow i will start working on my grandaughters b/day, the three oldest and sisters are all in November..one 2 days before thanksgiving....hopefully i will get the winter rains for that since this year the mon the of oct has let me down...sunny and warm..no wind.or rain and no thunder..some halloween.

It's all Grey here looks like what cemitaries look like in movies, all dark Grey. I don't understand when adults expect candy for their babies, the babies aren't going to eat it lol

We dont get trick or treaters out here, we're to far out for that..but I love putting up the decorations, try to get that done near the first part of Oct. so I have lots of time to enjoy them.
I'm just waiting for it to snow so I can take the Halloween decorations off the tree and put the Christmas ones on but so far Mother is not co-operating with project snow...It's been cold enough if/when we get snow it will stick, got down to 6*F last night but oh was it beautiful out when I took the doggies for their potty walks and the frost was sparkling in the moonlight , just awesome...but I did have to trade my flip flops for a pair of shoes...not my favorite part of it getting cold,

it was another beautiful day here and tomorrow is time to pout the halloween deco's away! start for thanksgiving as well as xmas for it is a tradition to put xmas deco up on daughters b/day..or a day or 2 prior if company is coming to celebrate...halloween was such a disapointment made me wonder i even bothered to decorate,,we only had 15/20 children all night we called it a wrap about 8:30..
