Susan- take a deep breath. and another. Just because your mom has it, doesn't necessarily mean that you are doomed to have it as well. And there is hope. there is medication that slows this process of deteriorating down right now- before this illness begins to show up in you, there will hopefully be a cure- the stem cell research and everything is crucial. I would see a specialist and see what your options are- there might be preventive measures you can start taking now that will derail the disease. Just have faith in your self- loose your faith- then your fucked-so hold on it it. You are a strong intelligent woman- do your research before you give up or freak out. I know its hard- BUT YOU CAN DO IT. YOU CAN- I HAVE COMPLETE FAITH IN YOU- SUSAN. One foot infront on the other for now until you find out for sure. I think you're going to be fine, I really really do.
