I've had MS for 45 of my 60 years. 3 years ago I contracted Guillian Berre' which has left me unable to use my bottom half of my body. I am having trouble accepting help as I am not a person that accepts help well. I want independence! Can anyone understand my problem? Help if you can! Crol

I promise I will get a pic of both of them.....Glad you liked Meow...just got back from Walmart and am exhausted, no battery carts so walked the entire superstore, cause they just remodeled it and nothing is the same any longer. Lots of fun trying to find things...Finished all the necessary Shopping for Thanksgiving and feed for cats and birds. Did manage to get some really nice sweet corn for 10cents an ear. The speckled white and yellow...That will be good. You have a Wonderful Evening. Yes, we have always been a close knit family, no matter how bad we always talked things out....Hugs with Love, Lee Ann

Thanks for all those prayers, I can see the Angels are surrounding me and helping our family get through these difficult times....Yes, Cobra but at least it is something and you know who is going to pick up that tab....LOL But with his Crohns he must have insurance. Close Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS)
After having MS for 45 years, I contracted GB almost 3 years ago. I was very bad for quite a while but since then I have regained the use of my top half of my body, but the bottom 1/2 is almost useless. I exercise and try to work at it, but it is so slow. How about you? Carol
Treatments
- IVIG Working / Worked
- All while in ICU at UofM hospital. Don't know any names. I have no memory of this time of my life.
- Supportive Care Working / Worked
- I just started right here at this spot!
Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSI have had MS for about 45 years but I contracted GB just over 2 years ago, so I have double the trouble I used to have. I was able to dontrol my MS with everything starting with Prednison and through the years I used Copaxon. I went through the numbness, loss of vision, for a while, fatigue, depression, stumbling when I walked, the full gamit of symptoms, but NOW I am left pralyzed on my bottom half!
Treatments
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- I had very good luck with Copaxon. It maintained my otherwise good health all the whie I used it.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- That was used early on in the treatment of MS
