Tonight we saw Rent with original cast members Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal. It was probably one of the most amazing performances I have ever experienced! The first broadway musical I saw was Rent on Broadway in NY with the complete original cast. And now tonight after seeing the final tour I feel like I have come circle in part of my life. I have come from a life of verbal, physical, and sexual abuse. I have worked on creating a life of my own past the pain and the abuse. I have to be happy with the life I have created and learn to live everyday to the fullest.

After the play we went backstage to meet the cast. I was talking to Anthony Rapp and while I was getting his autograph he told me he loved me! I also met Nicolette Hart who I have seen in Legally Blonde, Rent, and along side Bette Midler! She even let me take a picture with her :D Hopefully if I can ever figure out how to upload more pictures I will post them after our trip.
::UPDATE::
I'm home from my trip and overall the whole trip was great. I got to re-connect with some old friends, make new ones, and was able to put the past aside and just enjoy myself. Rent has always been a moving and inspirational play and now I am going to try and center my healing about the message. No matter what I can do this!
