I started my application for SSD yesterday on line. I know that this is a very tiny step in the prossess. The hard part initially will be to gather up all my records. This will not be easy. They are old. Many different doctors, some I don't even remember their names. I've neglected dealing with this for years but I'm going to give it a try.
My partner has a job interview soon. When we relocate I will apply for ssd and start that crazy prossess. I've gotten lots of support from reading posts on this site and am going to give it a try. I know it's a tough battle, but I think I'm ready for it now.

It's snowing here. My sacral pain has let up with massages from my Tom, but my neck and shoulder are at it. Oh well at least I can walk and do some things around the house. It was getting filthy. I have been reading alot of the disscusions on the DS and they have brought many memmories back. Some good some bad but all things I need to remind myself of once in a while. I look foward to seeing my kids this weekend. I miss them so much. The thing I 'm dreading is dealing with my mother. I'll have to devote a long journal entry to that. Not gonna wreck my good mood today.

Hey, how are you? I would go ahead and apply for SSD now, you can do it online, because it takes awhile, so the sooner the better. I just finally got my Medicare April 1st- it takes 29 months total, the 1st 5 months is a waiting period then you have to wait 2rs from then regardless of when you're approved for SSD- I had to wait 11 more months after I was approved. The whole process is a big headache, but the sooner you start the sooner it will be over. I hope you're having a good day. Hugs, Bonnie
