Two weeks ago I went up to Huntsville to be with my sister, who was just diagnosed with breast cancer. She is mildly retarded and was having a hard time understanding what was happening to her. She lives with one of my other sisters who has had breast cancer twice, so that helped to prepare her for what might be ahead.
I got home last Saturday evening and there was a letter for me from SSD saying I'm approved. It was my first try, so I was shocked, to say the least. I called Binder & Binder Monday to make sure I could believe what I was reading and, sure enough, it was true. My first payment will be in January! (after Christmas :-( but I'll take it! We are trying to buy a house and this income will possibly help us qualify for a loan.
I was approved on fibromyalgia, hypertension and cardiovascular disease, hypertension, depression and anxiety. I will turn 62 in February and B&B said my age helped. I'm so relieved to not have a three-year battle.
