I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2000 after completing chemotherapy for Ovarian Cancer. The drugs that saved my life were very toxic. I believe they triggered my fibromyalgia. I'm glad to be alive, and try to take the fibro in my stride. That's more difficult some days than others.

You really have to have Fibro to understand how much it can hurt. To me there is no describing it except to say that my bones hurt along with my muscle pain.
I also had to quit working because of fibro pain. I have sence been diagnosed with copd brochitis and now I have a blockage in my heart. I am only 49 and I have 2 grand babies James 11 months and stephanie 3 months. It's hard to live with the pain but you can make friends here and I have found that just talking seems to help.
I have suffered from FMS since 2000. I am now unable to work because of the pain that prolonged sitting or standing causes.
