Open War in Iraq

Hi, I think our President Sucks, I support Our Troop 100%, My Nephew has been serving in Iraq since May, He was injured on Sept 19th on a training mission, when a missle was misfired and went in to power lines and come back and blow up 10 Yards in front of them, He was critically injured, He is now in Walter Reed Hosp, In DC, he is healing better than we ever thought, God has diffently given us a miracle for him to even be alive, His wife has been by his side ,he has 3 girls at home in KS

Open Sleep Apnea

Just recently did sleep study test, Found out I have sleep apnea, I stop breathing on the average of 32x's a hour, and Sat. level drops as low as 80, Waiting to be able to do sleep study with cpap soon, Then will be using Cpap machine, Can't wait,

I think it did help, but felt tired and crappy the next day, caused bad dreams,

Open Fibromyalgia

I was diagnosed in 2000, I have tried lots of different things, Would love to exchange stories with fellow fibro sufferers, Or anyone interested, Fibro is still a mystery to me, Although I Have now been diagnosed with sleep apnea about a year now, And I diffently think this plays a big role is total health, I am struggling with Pain and fatigue, It a rollarcoaster ride, I want to learn more about the Fibro and Sleep apnea, right now it controls my life,

Treatments

Cymbalta Working / Worked

Been using med 4 years now, Dosage is 60mg Twice a day, I am having some trouble with depression, But am at my highest dosage with the Cymbatla, I do think it does help me, Just not sure if it will be enough as time goes on,

Effexor Somewhat Helpful

It was helpful for a while, hard to detox from, Not as effective as Cymbalta

Heat Working / Worked

It does help to relax some, Sometimes nothing else helps as much as a good heating pad, depending upon type of pain,

Lyrica Not Working

I had immediate side effects of swelling of face and hands, and did not get any benefit from the medication

Morphine Working / Worked

Have been on a Maintance Pain Therapy for 3 mths now, I take two, 30mg MsContin, daily, It has managed the Pain better than anything else I have tried, It is not something You fool around with You must follow the Doctors strict orders, and never drink alcohol with with this medication,

Prayer Working / Worked

I pray Everyday,I love the Lord Amen

Open Lung Cancer

My Mom was diagnosed in Dec, with non small cell lung cancer, she has been going through 12 weeks of chemo, concerns about area on bone, Did Pet scan, and are waiting on results, Tumor is responding to chemo, and is operable now, waiting to talk with surgeon
